At dinner tonight, the wait assistant brought over some Voss water, sparkling. It was flat, and she seemed reluctant to get us a different bottle. When she came back with a new bottle, we asked her to get us new glasses, and she grabbed our glasses and poured the flat water into the plants over the fence, and put the glasses back in front of us. I could not stop laughing. Then she was talking loudly with the bartender about partying and "getting wasted" and boyfriend stuff. Very strange to have a conversation about that kind of stuff in earshot of the customers, I think.
The waiter forgot the bread, the other WA's were also fairly inept, the owner speaks Afrikaans (that has nothing to do with anything), the manager was not present, and the food was overpriced.
But the food was great, and the setting is nice.
Discovered today that I got overcharged at the bar last night. She didn't take a drink off the check that was wrong. Chick owes me 5 bucks.
